TL;DR. Last updated July 2026. The cheapest paid entry is the Team plan, at $10 per user per month on annual billing. It covers 2 to 15 users. Most paying teams land on Business at $25 per user per month, for 5 to 200 users. Pinnacle and Apex, meanwhile, are quote only. The Wrike pricing free plan sits at $0. Every paid tier also gets a 14-day trial with no card needed. Through Rewardio you get an effective 5% off, recurring on every billing cycle. No code needed.

Wrike Homepage

Wrike pricing looks simple and gets complicated fast. Two of the five plans carry a published number. In contrast, the other two send you to a sales rep. And the figure on the Wrike pricing page is not what you pay if your seat count sits awkwardly.

Here is the short version. Team costs $10 per user per month. Business costs $25 per user per month. Both assume annual billing, because Wrike publishes no monthly rate. Pinnacle and Apex carry no public price, so Wrike enterprise pricing means a call and a quote.

Wrike says these rates apply only to new purchases made on or after 21 January 2026. Signed up before that? Then your renewal maths will differ. Every figure below is Wrike pricing 2026 as published today, in US dollars, before tax.

The add-ons that sit on top

Two paid add-ons also matter for budgeting. Wrike Whiteboard costs $15 per user per month on top of your plan. That is more than an entire Team seat. Wrike Integrate, Wrike Sync, Wrike Datahub, Wrike Lock and the AI Elite action packs all carry custom pricing. So you cannot budget for any of them from the website.

Comparing the Wrike pricing plans

Team gives you the visual project layer. Interactive Gantt charts, shareable dashboards, calendars, custom fields and workflows. For a small marketing team that wants a timeline and fewer Slack chases, that is often enough.

Business is where Wrike becomes the tool people rave about. Request forms, creative proofing and approvals, time tracking, timesheets, workload charts and real-time reports all sit here. So do Wrike Copilot and the AI agent features. Came for the proofing or the resource management? Then Team will disappoint you. Instead, budget $25 per seat from day one.

Pinnacle earns its keep for a narrower group. Budgeting against bill rates, job roles, utilisation dashboards, Tableau and Power BI. It also holds the security controls that IT departments insist on. That point catches people out, so it gets its own line. SAML single sign-on, two-step verification, IP whitelisting and password policies all start at Pinnacle. If your security team requires SSO, your Wrike pricing conversation starts with a sales quote.

Apex is the newest tier and reads as an AI and integration bundle. It folds in Integrate, Sync and Whiteboard, which you would otherwise buy separately. It also multiplies the AI action allowance. Ultimately, consider it only if agents will run across departments.

The honest steer: most teams overbuy. Cannot name three Business-only features you will use in month one? Then start on Team. Wrike prorates upgrades mid-term, so moving up wastes nothing. Moving down is the hard direction, which is the next section’s problem.

Monthly vs annual billing

Most pricing articles quote a tidy percentage saving here. Wrike does not let anyone do that honestly, because it publishes no monthly rate.

The small print under the plan cards says the amount shown is monthly, billed annually per user. The FAQ goes further still. Business plans and above come as annual subscriptions only. So for four of the five Wrike pricing plans, annual is not a discount you choose. It is the only door.

Team is the one tier where a monthly option has historically existed at checkout, priced above the annual rate. Even so, Wrike publishes no figure for it. Treat $10 as the yearly-commitment price. Ask directly before you enter card details if monthly flexibility matters to you.

Budget for twelve months up front, then diarise the renewal date. Wrike’s terms auto-renew your subscription at the company’s then-current rates unless you give written notice first.

The catches to watch

Seat maths and plan limits

Wrike sells seats in blocks, not one at a time. Up to 30 seats, you buy in groups of five. From 30 to 100 seats, groups of ten. Above 100, groups of 25. A team of 101 people therefore pays for 125 licences. Land one person over a boundary and you fund several empty chairs for a year.

The plan caps are hard. Team stops at 15 users, Business at 200. Growing past 15 jumps the whole team from $10 to $25 per seat, not just the new starters.

Automation allowances scale per seat and per tier. Team gets 50 actions per seat per month, Business 200, Pinnacle 1,500. Wrike says it opens a conversation rather than auto-invoicing when you pass a limit. That is fairer than most. The catch, of course, is what the conversation costs. More capacity means upgrading everyone, not topping up one team.

Contract terms that bite later

AI usage sits under a fair-use clause. Wrike’s terms let it disable or degrade AI performance at its sole discretion if your usage exceeds fair use. Extra AI Elite action packs also carry custom pricing. Buying Wrike mainly for the agents? Pin the numbers down in writing.

Storage is thinner than it looks. The free tier gives 2 GB for the whole account, not per person. Team gives 2 GB per user, Business 5 GB. Extra storage is fee-based in 500 GB and 1 TB increments. Video processing likewise carries its own monthly caps.

There are no refunds. Wrike’s terms state that all purchases are final. No refunds or credits for partial or unused periods, for downgrades, or for features you paid for and never used. You also cannot cut your seat count mid-term. Self-service downgrades only run from Business to Team, and only under strict conditions.

Add-ons stack. Whiteboard at $15 on a $10 Team seat makes your real cost $25 per person. That is Business money for a Team feature set.

Free trial, free plan and money back

Wrike runs a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, and you can cancel any time. Given the no-refund policy, that trial is the only safety net you get. So use it properly.

When it ends, Wrike blocks the account until you decide. Meanwhile, your data stays intact. You can downgrade to the free version or talk to a rep, and an extension is sometimes possible if you ask.

The Wrike pricing free plan is a real product rather than a teaser, but it is narrow. You get unlimited users, tasks and subtasks, board and table views, folder hierarchy, the apps and the open API. You do not get Gantt charts, dashboards, calendars, custom fields or a single automation. Two gigabytes covers the whole account. Treat it as a shared to-do list.

There is no money-back guarantee. Test it during the trial, or accept the year.

How to pay less for Wrike

Pull the levers in this order and you will land on the lowest honest number.

  1. Use the full 14 days on the tier you think you need. Load a real project, invite the awkward stakeholder, run one approval cycle. After all, most upgrade regret starts with a wasted trial.
  2. Buy the cheapest tier that does the job. No proofing or time tracking on your list? Then Team at $10 covers a surprising amount.
  3. Count your seats against the block sizes. Sitting at 31 users costs you a full group of ten. Trim to 30, or add the extra people deliberately.
  4. Use the free viewer licences. Wrike provisions viewers at no cost on every plan. Executives and clients who only read dashboards do not need a full seat.
  5. Skip the add-ons in year one. They are easy to add later and hard to unwind, since removing a paid add-on earns you nothing back.
  6. Diarise the renewal. Auto-renewal at the then-current rate is the most common way people overpay. Set a reminder 60 days out and review your seat count then.
  7. Take the cashback. Going through Rewardio gets you an effective 5% off, and it recurs rather than expiring after the first invoice.

One thing not to bother with: hunting a Wrike promo code. Wrike runs no standing public discount, and the coupon sites mostly serve expired junk.

How the cashback works

Rewardio earns a commission when you sign up to Wrike through our link. We pass a share of it straight back to you as cashback. That works out as an effective 5% off.

The part that matters on a per-seat platform is that it recurs. The effective discount applies on every renewal for as long as you stay subscribed, not just the first invoice.

The mechanics are simple. Click through from the Wrike cashback page on Rewardio to activate tracking, then subscribe as normal on Wrike’s site. Tracking usually registers within hours. Confirmation follows once Wrike verifies the subscription is active and past its refund window. Finally, there is no minimum withdrawal.

Is Wrike worth the money

For the right team, comfortably. The resource management and creative proofing are genuinely strong, and the reporting answers the questions leadership keeps asking. Around 20,000 organisations use it. The platform has run since 2006, with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and CSA STAR certification, plus EU hosting in Paris for European accounts.

For the wrong team, it is expensive and heavy. Five people needing a shared task list will feel like they bought a lorry for the school run. The interface is dense, and admins need real onboarding rather than an afternoon.

The value question turns on whether you reach Business and use its depth. Below that tier, cheaper tools do a similar job. For the feature-by-feature picture, read our Wrike review. Weighing it against the obvious alternative? Our Wrike vs Asana comparison covers that head-to-head.

Wrike pricing FAQ

What is Wrike?

Wrike is a work management platform for teams running complex, multi-project work. It handles tasks, Gantt charts, dashboards, resource planning, creative proofing, request forms, automation and reporting. More than 400 integrations connect it to the rest of your stack. Wrike launched in 2006 and now sits under private equity ownership at Symphony Technology Group.

How do I cancel a Wrike subscription?

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect immediately. However, Wrike issues no refund for the unused part of your term. To stop a renewal, give written notice before the current term expires. Otherwise the plan renews automatically at Wrike’s then-current rates. Account owners handle plan changes under Settings, then Subscription. Reducing seats or downgrading usually means contacting your account or renewals manager. Export anything you need first, because Wrike may deactivate the account or convert it to a free one.

How much is Wrike per month?

Team costs $10 per user per month. Business costs $25 per user per month. Both figures assume annual billing, in US dollars, before tax. The free plan costs nothing, and Pinnacle and Apex require a quote.

Does Wrike have a free trial?

Yes. Wrike offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, and you can cancel at any point. Once it expires, Wrike blocks the account until you pick a plan or downgrade to the free tier. Your data stays intact in the meantime.

Is there a Wrike discount?

Wrike runs no reliable public promo code, so cashback is the dependable route. No code needed. Sign up through Rewardio for an effective 5% off that recurs on every billing cycle.

Verdict

Wrike prices itself like an enterprise platform, and the structure proves it. Two published tiers, two quote-only tiers, seats sold in blocks, annual commitment as the default. That works if you land on Business and use the proofing, resource views and reporting. It is poor value if you only wanted a Gantt chart.

Get the tier right, count your seats against the block sizes, and take the recurring cashback. For the full scored breakdown and to activate cashback before you subscribe, head to our Wrike cashback and review page.

Rewardio earns a commission when you sign up to Wrike through our links, and we pass a share of that back to you as cashback. That is how the site stays free to use. Either way, the plans and prices above are laid out as they stand, not bent to push the sale. We would rather earn your trust than a single click.
