About PassPack
It's built for teams that need to store, organise and share business credentials without paying enterprise-password-manager prices for every user.
That distinction explains most of the product.
Passpack Teams starts at around $1.50 per user a month with annual billing, while Business is around $4.50. That's substantially below products such as 1Password Business, particularly once you start adding twenty, fifty or a hundred users.
The security model is conventional in the right ways. Passpack uses a zero-knowledge architecture, with vault data encrypted before it reaches the service. A separate packing key protects the vault in addition to the normal account credentials, and two-factor authentication includes support for YubiKey hardware security keys.
Business adds the controls IT teams are more likely to care about: SSO, Active Directory integration, just-in-time provisioning, audit logs and organisation-level administration. Passpack also holds SOC 2 Type II certification.
Sharing is central to the product. Credentials can be organised by team, access can be revoked centrally and ownership can be transferred when somebody leaves the company. That's particularly useful for agencies, MSPs and businesses managing credentials that belong to clients rather than individual employees.
The big compromise is day-to-day convenience.
Passpack is still primarily web-based. There is no browser extension or native desktop and mobile experience comparable with 1Password or Bitwarden, which means no traditional autofill workflow. In practice, you're opening the vault and copying credentials across.
For a team managing shared admin logins, that may be perfectly acceptable.
For somebody expecting their password manager to disappear into the browser and fill every login automatically, it probably isn't.
Buy through Rewardio and 10% recurring cashback comes back as real money during your first 12 months.

What we like
- Passpack offers unusually strong business-password-manager economics, particularly once a team grows beyond a handful of users.
- The security model includes the fundamentals we'd want to see, including zero-knowledge encryption, hardware-key 2FA and SOC 2 Type II certification.
- Team separation, ownership transfer and central access revocation make good practical sense for agencies, MSPs and businesses managing credentials through staff changes.
Where it falls short
- The lack of a mature browser-extension autofill experience is a major usability compromise and will be a deal-breaker for some teams.
- The interface and overall experience feel less refined than 1Password, Bitwarden and other modern password managers.
- Support feedback is mixed, and Passpack doesn't include some of the security-monitoring extras now common among premium competitors.
Passpack isn't the password manager I'd recommend to everyone. That's actually what makes it easier to judge. If your employees expect the effortless autofill, mobile apps and polished browser integration of 1Password or Bitwarden, Passpack will feel like a downgrade. Those products cost more because the everyday experience is materially better. Passpack becomes much more interesting when the job is managing a controlled library of business credentials. Agencies, MSPs and smaller IT teams often care more about separating client access, revoking users cleanly and keeping shared credentials under company control than they do about autofilling fifty personal websites a day. For that use case, the price is exceptional. The security foundation is credible, the Business plan now has the identity and provisioning features serious organisations expect, and even at $4.50 per user it remains inexpensive compared with most established competitors. Use the 28-day trial properly. Load real credentials, give access to real team members and see whether the manual workflow becomes annoying. If it doesn't, Passpack could save a surprisingly large amount of money. Rewardio's 10% recurring cashback across the first year makes an already inexpensive business password manager cheaper again.
