TL;DR: Plaky’s free plan costs nothing and covers unlimited users, boards and items, which makes it the cheapest entry point by default. Most small teams that outgrow it land on Pro, at $3.99 per seat per month billed annually (or $4.99 a month billed monthly). Enterprise runs $8.99 per seat per month billed annually, and the CAKE.com Bundle, which adds Pumble and Clockify on top of Enterprise-level Plaky, is $12.99 per seat per month billed annually. Sign up for Plaky through Rewardio and you get an effective 15% off, in cashback, on top of whatever plan you pick.

You want the real numbers, not a sales pitch. Here they are, pulled straight from Plaky’s live pricing page today. The free plan is genuinely free and does not expire. The paid tiers start at $3.99 per seat per month and scale up from there, billed per user rather than per workspace.
Plaky is built by CAKE.com, the same company behind Clockify and Pumble, and it is aimed at small teams who want Kanban boards, task tracking and Gantt charts without the price tag that comes with bigger project management tools. We have already covered how it performs day to day in our Plaky review, and if you are still deciding between Plaky and something else, our Plaky alternatives guide lines up the closest competitors. This article is the one to bookmark for the actual cost breakdown, plan by plan, catch by catch.
Plaky pricing plans, in full
Plaky runs four tiers: Free, Pro, Enterprise and the CAKE.com Bundle. Every paid plan bills per seat, and a seat covers any active or invited user, whether they are an owner, admin or regular member. Viewers do not count against your seat total on paid plans.
| Free | Pro | Enterprise | CAKE.com Bundle | |
| Monthly | $0 | $4.99 / seat | $10.99 / seat | $15.99 / seat |
| Annual (per month) | $0 | $3.99 / seat | $8.99 / seat | $12.99 / seat |
| Best for | Solo users and small teams testing Plaky | Growing teams needing private boards and automation | Larger businesses needing security and unlimited automation | Teams that also want time tracking and team chat |
| Key inclusions | Unlimited users, boards, items and views, 6 fields per board, 7-day activity log, 10MB file storage | Everything in Free, plus Gantt view, private boards, unlimited fields, Viewer role, 1,000 automations a month, 25MB file storage, 6-month activity log | Everything in Pro, plus board permissions, unlimited automations, unlimited activity log, 100MB file storage, custom subdomain, SSO | Enterprise-level Plaky plus Pumble and Clockify in one subscription |
| Cashback via Rewardio | N/A | 15% | 15% | 15% |
A quick note on the free plan, since it trips people up. Plaky’s free tier does not cap your user count, board count or item count, which is unusual. Most competitors ration seats or boards on their free plan and push you toward a paid tier fast. Plaky does not do that, so the free plan alone answers a lot of the Plaky pricing free plan unlimited users searches on its own.

Compare the Plaky pricing plans
Free is genuinely usable long-term if your team does not need private boards, Gantt charts or more than 6 custom fields per board. A lot of small teams can run entire workflows on it without hitting a wall.
Pro is where most paying customers land, and for good reason. It unlocks private boards and spaces, which matters the moment you have anything client-facing or confidential. It also adds the Gantt view, which Free does not include at all, plus unlimited custom fields per board instead of 6. If your team needs to hide certain boards from certain people, or you are tired of running out of fields, Pro is the tier that solves it.
Enterprise is aimed at bigger organizations, and the jump from Pro is mostly about scale and security rather than day-to-day features. You get unlimited automations instead of 1,000 actions a month, unlimited activity log instead of 6 months, and Single Sign-On, which most small teams will never touch. Unless you specifically need SSO, a longer activity trail, or you are running enough automations to hit the Pro cap, Enterprise is probably more than you need.
The CAKE.com Bundle is worth a second look if you already use, or would use, Pumble for team chat and Clockify for time tracking. At $12.99 per seat a month billed annually, Plaky states the combined value of the three apps at $27.97 per user a month bought separately, which puts the Bundle discount at 53% against list price. If you only want project management, the Bundle is not the right tier. If you are shopping for three tools at once, it is worth pricing out against buying Plaky, Pumble and Clockify individually.
Plaky monthly vs annual pricing
Every paid Plaky plan costs less per month if you commit to annual billing, and the gap is consistent across tiers.
- Pro: $4.99 a month billed monthly, or $3.99 a month billed annually. That is a saving of about 20% for paying yearly.
- Enterprise: $10.99 a month billed monthly, or $8.99 a month billed annually. That works out to roughly 18% less over the year.
- CAKE.com Bundle: $15.99 a month billed monthly, or $12.99 a month billed annually, a saving of close to 19%.
If you are confident you will stick with Plaky past the first few months, annual billing is the obvious pick. If you are still testing the tool with a live team, the monthly rate costs more per seat but keeps you free to cancel without losing a prepaid year.
The catches to watch with Plaky pricing
No pricing page is without a downside, and Plaky has a few worth flagging before you commit.
Per-seat billing adds up fast on bigger teams. A 20-person team on Pro annual billing runs to roughly $80 a month, and Enterprise at the same headcount is close to $180 a month. Plaky’s pricing looks cheap at the per-seat level, but it scales the same way most seat-based tools do, so do the maths for your actual headcount before you commit, not just the sticker price for one seat.
Seats get charged immediately, not just at renewal. If you add a new user mid-cycle, Plaky bills you a prorated amount for the rest of that billing period right away, rather than waiting for the next invoice.
There are no refunds. If you cancel or downsize, Plaky will not refund unused time, though it does convert unused seats into account credit for your next invoice. That is a fair middle ground, but it is not the same as getting money back.
Prices shown do not include tax by default. Plaky adds applicable taxes based on your country’s rules on top of the advertised price, so the number on the pricing page is not always the number on your card statement.
The dedicated success representative, a genuinely useful onboarding perk, only kicks in at fairly high seat counts: 120 seats on Pro, 50 on Enterprise, or 30 on the Bundle. Small teams will not get that level of hand-holding.
Free trial, free plan and refund policy
Plaky offers a 7-day free trial of every paid feature, and it does not ask for a credit card to start it. If 7 days is not enough time to test everything properly, Plaky’s sales team will extend the trial and set up a demo call on request, which is a reasonable option if you are evaluating Plaky for a whole department rather than yourself.
Outside the trial, the free plan itself works as a permanent option rather than a time-limited teaser. There is no money-back guarantee on paid plans, so treat the trial as your real chance to check the fit before you pay anything.
How to pay less for Plaky
Start with the free plan and only upgrade once you hit a feature you actually need, like private boards or the Gantt view. A lot of small teams pay for Pro before they need to.
Once you do upgrade, pick annual billing if you are reasonably sure you will keep using Plaky. The saving is real, at roughly 18 to 20% depending on the tier, and it is the single biggest lever here.
Count your seats honestly before you buy. Since Viewers do not need a paid seat, put anyone who only needs to check progress, rather than edit boards, in as a Viewer instead of a full paid member.
If you are also shopping for time tracking or team chat, price the CAKE.com Bundle against buying the tools separately. At the seat counts CAKE.com quotes, the Bundle can work out cheaper than paying for Plaky, Pumble and Clockify on their own.
Finally, sign up through Rewardio rather than going direct. It costs nothing extra and adds cashback on top of whatever plan and billing cycle you choose.
How the Plaky cashback works
When you sign up to Plaky through a Rewardio link, Plaky pays us a commission for referring you, and we pass a share of that back to you as cashback. It costs you nothing to use Rewardio, and it does not change what you pay Plaky.
The current rate is an effective 15% off, and this applies whether you choose monthly or annual billing. To activate it, click through from the Plaky cashback page on Rewardio before you sign up or upgrade, since tracking depends on that initial click.

Is Plaky worth the money?
For the price, yes. The free plan alone beats most competitors’ free tiers on user and board limits, and Pro, at $3.99 a seat a month annually, is cheap for a tool that adds Gantt charts, private boards and unlimited custom fields. The main thing to watch is per-seat scaling once your team grows past a handful of people, since the cost stacks up the same way it does with most tools billed this way.
