What is cashback, and how does Rewardio earn it?
Cashback is essentially a small percentage of cash returned to after every purchase you make. When you click through Rewardio, to one of our partner brands and complete a purchase, that brand will pay us a commission for sending you to their website, and we simply pass on the majority of that commission back to you in cash.
Rewardio has build direct relationships with over 200 brands across software, AI tools, productivity apps, CRM's, VPN's, hosting, online learning, gambling and much more! Each brand has a cashback rate, anywhere from 2% to even 90% of the purchase value, and we display it transparently on every merchant page, so you know exactly what you can earn back on your purchases and subscriptions.
Unlike the typical traditional coupon sites, you don't need a discount code (though we have those too which can be stacked), you don't need an extension or a special checkout flow. You simply need to click through to the merchant through Rewardio, after you've created an account. We do all of the tracking for you and update your account accordingly. How tracking actually works
When you click "Activate cashback" on a store page, Rewardio redirects you to the merchant through our tracking system. This places a small cookie in your browser so the merchant knows you came from Rewardio.
When you complete a purchase, the merchant reports the sale back to us, this usually within a few hours. We match it to your click, calculate your cashback, and add it to your account. The whole process is invisible to you, there's nothing extra to do at checkout.

From pending to payable
Once you make a qualifying purchase, your cashback moves through three stages before it lands in your wallet. This is set by the merchant's return window and not by us, this is why cashback platforms (including ours) must take around 30 days to mark a sale as fully confirmed.
Pending cashback appears in your dashboard usually within minutes. It becomes confirmed once the merchant verifies the sale, then payable when their return period ends. At that point you can withdraw it to PayPal, with bank transfers and gift cards being integrated soon.
Sales that get refunded, cancelled, or violate the merchant's terms (e.g. coupon stacking from non-affiliate sources) will be reversed and removed from your balance. This protects the integrity of the cashback economy and keeps rates high for everyone.
